April 2 is Autism Awareness Day—a day to increase understanding of autism spectrum disorder, encourage early diagnosis, and promote acceptance and inclusion in our schools, workplaces, and communities.
This week, our staff came together to share a message of encouragement with our church family.
At South E Free, we are truly blessed to have a Special Needs Ministry that welcomes and supports families with special needs within our church community. Through this ministry, we witness God’s love in powerful and tangible ways—expressed through compassion, patience, and faithful care.
To all parents, we recognize that many of your challenges are unseen, and the journey can be difficult at times. Please know that you are not alone. We pray that the immeasurable love of Jesus Christ will remain strong in your household, bringing you strength, peace, and hope each day. Your sacrificial love reflects the heart of Christ—it is seen, it matters, and it is deeply valued.
As God reminds us in His Word:
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” (Psalm 28:7)
We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the aides and volunteers who serve so faithfully in this ministry. Your kindness and dedication are a beautiful testimony of Christ’s love in action, and your service is a blessing to many.
