  • Dear friends & family,

Thanks so much for your prayer support the last few months. We thank God for His grace over Enoch’s family as they completed the final funeral rites for their father in February.

In March, we traveled to Suburini, Gmanejere and Accra in preparation for a Short Term Ministry team from First Alliance Church (Calgary), coming in April over the Easter season. I have been encouraged in my ministry through their preparations for the lessons and activities they will conduct with two of the Mission Schools in Northern Ghana. Their passion and zeal, attention to detail and thoughtfulness in delivering the Easter message of Jesus’ death and resurrection is evident.

Please pray with us as we continue to prepare. Pray for the children and people in Suburini and Gmanejere, for the spiritual and physical health of all team members, and for God to be made known and glorified through this STM.

Unfortunately, I was unable to finalize my immigration documents this month, though I had expected to be finished with it all a couple of months ago. However, I’m optimistic that it will be ready by the end of this month. Thanks for your continued prayer support.

Yesterday (March 23), we celebrated the ordination of Reverend Thomas Sherro, who pastors Guno church near Tamale. Reverend Ezekiel Gbande was also ordained in Kpandai in February. CIM has been working alongside Reverend Sherro and Reverend Gbande for many years and it is a joy to see the Lord’s favor upon them. During Rev. Sherro’s ordination, I particularly appreciated each of his church congregations’ traditional dance and songs in their local dialect. It is so beautiful and joyous to hear the gospel truth proclaimed in each tribe’s heart language. I

n Nyankpala, we continue to learn through the ABCs of God’s prophecies through Jesus. Please pray for the children and their families, as their Ramadan fasting is coming to an end in a few days. Pray for the Holy Spirit to touch their hearts and reveal Himself to them.

Please also continue to pray for the various church planters across Ghana. There will be some transitions for a few of our pastors in the upcoming months. Pray for God’s leadership in their lives and provision for their families as they face new changes. Please let us know how we can also be praying for you.

God bless you, Janice, Enoch & Lucy Jabab

Enoch and I (Janice) both became Christians at young ages because we grew up in Christian families and attended church. Enoch's mother always lived by example to their family about the importance of prioritizing God and serving others. This life of service to others for God's glory was greatly imparted onto Enoch at a young age. I began participating in short term missions trip to Ghana in 2009, where God started putting on my heart a love for the Ghanaian people.

God confirmed my calling by answering a confirmation prayer in 2018. I prayed to God that He would put the passage of Mark 10:29-30 to someone in my life to give to me as a confirmation that my full-time move into ministry in Ghana was God's will. In God's perfect provision, He confirmed my calling to me a week later when my pastor spoke from Mark 10.

My Current role in Chinese International Missions (Canada) CIMI am CIM Canada's International Worker in Ghana and I oversee some of the administrative work between CIM Canada and the local church, Evangelical Church of Ghana (E.C.G.) We work with nine E.C.G. pastors, in which the pastors are involved in church planting efforts in as many as 22 preaching points in their surrounding rural areas. We also support 3 E.C.G. mission schools and their teachers. In Nyankpala (our current town), we work with Campus Ministry students from the university in organizing a weekly kids club for the children in the community to learn about the Good News of Jesus.
