Child Care Relief Program During Teachers’ Strike
Dates: Wednesday October 22 - Friday October 24
Time: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Ages: Kindergarten – Grade 6
Cost: $10/day/child
Who: Priority will be given to low income families and single parents and those perhaps who aren't attending church, but it's open to all families in need.
About This Program
Our church will be offering a short-term child care program to provide a safe, caring environment for kids while parents navigate the strike. The program is designed to help families—especially single parents and those with fewer resources—by providing stability, fun activities, and study time for children.
Program Details
Groups:
K–Grade 2 (max 20 kids)
Grade 3–6 (max 20 kids)
Meals: Snacks provided; children must bring their own lunch
Other Notes:
No after-hours care available
Children may bring books or homework; quiet study time will be provided

Activities and materials will be provided, and a staff member or pastor will be present to guide the program.
