Christmas Adopt a Family 2023

The festive season is almost upon us, and we're excited to re-launch our "Adopt a Family" initiative. This year, we're joining hands with the Manna Pantry Program to brighten the holidays for low-income families in our local community, most of whom we've supported over the past 6 months to 2 years.

How Can You Help?
Team up with your small group, friends or family and choose a family to support, details below. [October]

  • They will provide a wish list with items for each member. [November]

  • Aim to fulfill one wish for every family member. [November/December]

  • Bring your gifts to the church, and we'll ensure they reach the right hands. [December]

Families Awaiting Your Kindness:

  • Desire & Geraldine: A lively family of 9, with children aged between 3 and university years.

  • Karen: A single mom and her daughter (frequently giving back to the community and even donating TO the pantry program)

  • Oleksandra: A family of 3, bringing with them the spirit and warmth of Ukraine.

  • Charity: A single mother with twin girls aged 4 - one of our longest clients

  • Natasha: A single mother with 3 kid very active kids in grade school

If you're interested in adopting a family this Christmas, please let us know by emailing [email protected].  Let's make this Christmas one to remember!

Sharing from Ukraine

Pastor Vasya Fenchek and Pastor Vlad is speaking across Canada this week about the situation in Ukraine, their talk titled “Mercy in the Midst of Turmoil”. Pastor Vasya also gave a heart felt encouraging message last Sunday: “Songs born from Trials: Lessons from Habbakuk”. He reminded us that we are not immune to turmoils and suffering of this world, so how do we go about facing them and not lose faith but rather strengthen our faith?
